Required Materials:  Students are to bring following the course materials to class:

  • – California Fire Code (Current ed.)
  • – California Building Code (Current ed.)
  • – NFPA 1037 Standard for Fire Marshal Professional Qualifications (2016)
  • – Physical copy or digital access is acceptable for NFPA documents
  • – A copy of the student’s agency or department’s local ordinances for activity 2-2
  • – A copy of the “Guide to Title 24” available in the student resource section of the Google Drive folder.

Enrollment:  The course fee is $225.  Class will be filled on a first come, first served basis and is limited to 30 students.  Members wishing to attend are directed to register online and indicate whether they are paying by credit card, check, or cash.  A convenience fee of 2.3% will be applied to all credit card payments.  If paying by check, make it payable to the Fresno Fire Department (FFD).  Please note the course name in the memo section of the check.  Full payment is required to reserve a seat and complete registration.  Deadline for registration is May 29, 2025.
